January 2014 - Isherwood McCann to Sponsor LLEP delegation at MIPIM
The company are sponsoring the Leicester & Leicestershire Enterprise Partnership delegation to MIPIM 2014, in Cannes in March. The delegation includes Mayor Sir Peter Soulsby and Nick Rushton, leader of Leicestershire County Council. Ian McCann is attending and will be involved in an intense programme of networking events, seminars and business development opportunities.

March 2014 - Planning Application Submitted for Taylor Wimpey Site
Isherwood McCann have been working with Taylor Wimpey recently on the development of a site containing 320 houses in Leicestershire, with a planning application now submitted to the local authority incorporating a comprehensive set of over 130 drawings including plans, elevations and streetscenes, along with the preparation of other detailed documents such as design codes.
March 2014 - UDG Completion
The 220,000 sqft. distribution centre being constructed for UDG has now achieved practical completion. The project was developed using BIM techniques by Isherwood McCann and was constructed by Winvic Construction and developed by Clowes Developments UK Ltd.
March 2014 - Progress Update on Police Station
The new police station in Loughbrough for Leicestershire Police, being constructed by Wilmott Dixon, is nearing its completion date with the main building and external facade almost complete. The sitewide works are under construction, following which will be the task of carrying out demolition works on the existing police station on the site.
January 2014 - Isherwood McCann now Working with Taylor Wimpey
Isherwood McCann have recently been commisioned by Taylor Wimpey (East Midlands) to work with them on sites across Leicestershire / Lincolnshire for developments of up to 400 residential units.
January 2014 - Progress Update on 220,000 sqft. Distribution Centre
Currently being constructed by Winvic Construction on behalf of Clowes Developments UK Ltd, the development for UDG is progressing towards its completion date in March 2014. The building sits on Plot C at Castlewood Grange Business Park, in close proximity to the recently completed distribution centre for the Co-operative Food.
Februay 2014 - Nock Verges Development Completed
The project for Sheiling Properties in Stoney Stanton has now been completd, with all 5 dwellings being completed to very good levels of energy efficiency, all achieving an A rating on their EPC's. The dwellings are all heated via air source heat pumps, with each dwelling containing PV panels on south facing roofs in order to generate electricity for the internal occupants. The dwellings were constructed using a mix of brickwork & render as external finishes.
December 2014 - Planning Granted for Dwelling Extension / Renovation
Planning permission has been granted for a large house extension & renovation to an existing dwelling in Kirby Muxloe, involving the construction of a first floor and changes to the external materials to modernise what was previously a worn down dwelling. Computer Generated Images were prepared in order to help to sell the scheme to the client.

November 2014 - Planning Consent Granted for 9 New Dwellings
Isherwood McCann have acquired planning permission on behalf of Sheiling Properties for 9 new dwellings in Church Lawford, Rugby. The development consists of 9 no. 4 bedroom houses which all come with garages and solar PV panels for generating electricity.

The dwellings are to be constructed using the same principles that the developers used on the project in Stoney Stanton, therefore will be aiming to once again achieve an EPC Rating of A.

The development is to be a gated residence to provide extra security for the residents in addition to offering a very good unique selling point.

September 2014 - South Wigston Application Gets Planning Consent
Isherwood McCann have been working with Harrison Properties on a development in South Wigston which involves the conversion of an existing office & workshop into residential units, along with the construction of 5 no. new terraced dwellings at the rear of the site. The development has now been granted consent following discussions with the council and the council's conservation area, with numerous discussions having taken place to come to an acceptable solution for all parties.
August 2014 - Planning Consent Granted for Police Station in Oakham
Leicestershire Police commissioned Isherwood McCann to prepare drawings & submit a planning application for a new Police Station in Oakham, to replace the existing Station which would be sold on following completion of the job. The application has now been granted consent with works due to commence late 2014 / early 2015. The proposed building contains a substantially smaller footprint than the existing in order to reduce long term running costs.
May 2014 - Loughborough Police Station Completed
The project for Leicestershire Police involving the construction of a new Police Station in Loughborough has now been completed, with Leicestershire Police having taken possession of the building. The works were completed by Wilmott Dixon and involved the demolition of the existing building once the proposed building was completed and the Police had moved in.
April 2014 - Industrial Building Completed for Conder Developments
Isherwood McCann have been working with Conder Developments on a small development at Plot 250A Ascot Business Park in Derby for the construction of a 14,500 sqft. indusrial building for an end tenant. The works have now been completed with Roe Developments carrying out the works as the main contractor.
